You get what you pay for...
This installed well with Win7 and the included drivers disk. However if you upgrade to Win10 afterwards it stops working. After upgrading to Windows 10.. I had to first uninstall the fresco logic software.. then boot into safe mode, go into the device manager and delete any and all devices for fresco Logic.. reboot.. then go to fresco logic's website download the beta drivers 2.0.30765.0 then install. If that doesn't work for you Fresco has other things you can try. But do yourself a favor, check the Fresco driver version in the device manager.. in Win10.. if it's not driver version 2.0.30765.0 or greater it won't work. I also locked my screen over night.. the next morning when I logged back in I had to reboot the machine to get the adapter to wake up. This is my first time using a product like this so I don't know if that's normal or maybe a setting I need to adjust.

1 of 1 found this helpful Other than I didn't have a long enough sata power cable to reach the card at first, but that was quickly resolved by rearranging how I had things plugged in. I had zero problems installing this right out of the box into a Win7 machine with an ASUS M4A87T motherboard. Make sure you read the included install instructions as the disk contains multiple folders. I even upgraded to Win10 afterwards and the card was picked up fine with Win10.
