Didn't appear to do any good
I put it on several times in the crack and couldn't tell any difference in the crack, it may work different on a different glass. I used it on a sliding rear window for my truck, I have the glass out and could lay it down flat.

Not reliable
Solenoid was stuck engaged when instalted, as soon as I put battery terminal on it cranked, had to beat it to unstuck it, don't trust it, I will replace it at first chance I get, to much hassle to send it back
