Loving portrait of industrial sprawl
A collection of sincere images made by an individual who knew each of these landscapes intimately. It communicates through the facade of this collection of seemingly deadpanned views. There is a romance in them. I found it fascinating - the process of the high resolution rephotographing Mr. Brown’s original 35mm color negatives. The resulting images printed in this edition have a palette akin to the venerable dye transfer.

A pinnacle achievement! .
One of the truly GREAT Albums of the 1970’s. It always amazes me how the Clash developed so quickly from a talented snarky garage band to such a smart and musically masterful ensemble. To me, this is their peak moment in their discography. It sits alongside my Bowie and Beatles, Who, Robert Johnson, etc.
