In the trash can

This microscope claims 500X, but I doubt that I got it passed 50X. The stand was so light and flimsy that I could not get it to stay steady. I hadn't expected much because of the cost, and I guess I was right. It was in my trash can after an hour. It was inexpensive though.

Zebra G nibs

These nibs work just fine for flexing and are inexpensive.

In the trash can

I tried to use this for about two hours, then walked it out to the trash can. It not only would not magnify at 500X, but the stand was so wobbly that I thought I was losing my vision. Any quality optical device requires a stable stand.
