Very low tension.
3 of 3 found this helpful I purchased these to replace the 3 springs in my AXL SRO Artist (Strat clone with American hardware) after putting a set of 11s on and having the bridge lift off the body > 1/8". I noticed immediately these were not as "stiff" as the springs which were currently in the guitar, but thought 5 should do the trick. 5 did NOT do the trick, even after tightening the claw anchor almost all the way into the body. I ended up using the 3 original springs along with 2 of these & then tightening the anchor, which got me where I needed to be. My disappointment lies in the fact I thought I was getting a six pack of standard Fender tremolo springs... fortunately, I was at least able to use 2, but now I've got 4 which are junk to me. I wouldn't even try to sell them because the next guy may end up with the same problem.
