Listen to this on CD
I have this album on compact disc and, being a hard core vinyl collector, was very happy to see this on vinyl. Unfortunately, this is an example of an inferior LP reissue. I don't think it is alone. They are reissuing a lot of things that came out originally on CD. Digitally recorded, digitally mixed, digitally mastered and then replicated digitally to CD. Then they take the cd and cut a vinyl record directly from that, seemingly adding one more layer of compression. The music on this record is squished. Pressed on thin vinyl, the records are warped, playable but warped. The album cover was also taken from a cd cover scan, evidenced by the grainy pictures and by the bar code that is huge. I never thought I would say this, but the cd sounds much better.
