Avoid, does not fit.
Shipped without 1/4-20 socket bolt and DOES NOT FIT all Manfrotto RC2 quick release heads. It lacks the notch in the front of the plate, so it will work with some RC2 clamps, like the X-PRO, but nit on others, like the 484. On those clamps, the safetly latch will not close, and its unsafe for any camera. See photos

Great compact alternative to full gimbal
Turns a solid ball head into a gimbal; much lighter than carrying a dedicated gimbal. It easily supports my 500mm & D850 on a Manfroto X-Pro ballhead. A full gimbal does have some advantages, but for packing light, can't beat the sidekick.
