Brand New NETGEAR AirCard Smart Cradle DC112A for ATT 779s

Cradle don't meet expection

The unit came with a European power which would not plug into my American 120 AC plug. I buy a power adapter and when ATT modem is place in cradle the ATT tower signal is reduce to zero and will not receive a sign. I am in a weak signal area but it should not lose all signal strength when in the smart Cradle.
