Solid, fast, large capacity for DC or server room use.
A solid, well-designed drive array for SAS use that happily takes a number of formats of drives.
Of course this is a drive array designed for datacenter use so they are NOT quiet and not recommended for use in anything but a server room or sound-insulated cage.
This particular setup was fully redundant with redundant PSUs and redundant controllers. Performance even with the drives only being 3G was excellent at 30k IOPS and 1GB/s read 750MB/s write speeds in RAID setup. The included controller card for the server did well in my DL380 to drives this array.

Simple, solid, compact adapter.
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a simple, compact, solidly-made adapter. It is exactly what you'd expect: You plug it in the socket, and plug your incompatible plug into it, and voila, done.
The contacts are sturdy but not tight. The material quality is good, and insulation to prevent shock hazards is also fine.
I've used this with both flimsy US plugs and bulky UK ones, and both were a no-hassle, 1 second job to plug it in any EU socket.
I particularly like the fact that the design is kept as compact as possible so you don't unnecessarily lose any adjacent socket space.

Extremely quiet, but doesn't push as much air.
If you're looking for an ultra-quiet case fan with decent cooling, then this is probably one of the best choices you can make. The fan performs well, has no vibration noise, and is otherwise extremely quiet.
Unfortunately, it doesn't push nearly as much air as I expected based on the listed specs and as a result I couldn't actually use it for what I intended it for as an ingress fan. The older, non-SF Zalman ZM-F3 performs much better in that respect although clearly not as quiet as this one.
Final verdict: 4/5 stars -- good value, very quiet, and cooling is quite decent even though not entirely as expected.
