Good looking lights, not so easy to connect
I got the lights, well packed and complete. The connecting wires are rather thin and I am bad at soldering. So I got some clam connectors for small wires. The package also contained some 20 small bare wire pieces with something like small diodes. Made to reduce the 12 volt power of the train layout to may be 2 or 3 volts for the lights or even less volts. So I installed 15 lights and 6 work, the other 9 do not. I do not know whether it is my wiring or what. The lights look great but may be I need to get some that are sturdier with heavier wires. I do not blame the maker of the lights, it could be my fault. They were very cheap, so I kind of got what I payed for.

I got what I paid for
control boxes are well made heavy duty machines that allow you to direct other things, like switches etc. The 4 boxes were in good shape, without any scratches or dints or anything and will be useful as intended. They came extremely well wrapped in bubble plastic. So I got what I paid for and the price was more than fair.

Happy Switching
The two electric Maerklin switches are in good condition and identical to switches that I have already. I have installed both switches on my layout, they work as designed and the indicator lights work as well. I am very happy and know I got a good deal.
