S/W unavailable now for iOS
The app is not available any longer on the app store for iOS. It hasn't been updated and this make the device unusable from iOS.

volume is weak and USB volume control (from Mac) is almost nonexistent
volume is weak - not the best sounding speakers... Incrementally better than the internal speakers on my mac.
and USB volume control (from Mac) is almost nonexistent -- the difference between the highest setting and the lowest setting is not much... Sounds almost the same.
