Very bright, uses old, almost free 18650 cells,, but I'm tired of smacking it to get it going.
This is a very bright flashlight. It works well on it's brightest setting...until it gets a month old or so. These, like other cheap chinese flashlights have faulty connections to the cell in short order. The flashing mode should be on a different button. I usually get it flashing when I just want a standard flashlight, and have to retap the button a number of times to get the setting I want, and about half the time I have to smack it in order to get to work. A lot of times smacking it also gets it from not working to flashing. Needs a redesign of that button
I would really like one with a recharger built in so I could solder the battery connections.

Good, long life battery for legacy computers like the SGI Indigo
They are a bit expensive, but they should last for around 20 years, which has been my experience on an SGI Indigo computers

High quality cable for serial console. Works with minicom ubuntu without having to install drivers
This is an excellent cable with everything you need to connect to the console of an old SGI, Sun or other unix or linux workstations & servers with a DB9 serial console.
