Bare bones rig working fine so far.
For light to medium loads this has done okay so far. I'm not sure how long it will perform, but at less than a hundred dollars it's a decent deal so far

not a toy
1 of 1 found this helpful battery technology has come a long way. this is an excellent tool that does nearly as much work as a gas machine w/o the noise and inconvenience. i decided to try the echo chainsaw and bought it with the battery. i got this reconditioned trimmer since i already had a battery. both the machines work very well for occasional homeowner/renter tasks. highly recommended.

The Roadside Geology series rocks
Hyneman, Thomas, Feeney and Mountain Press have another winner.
Montana Geology is a great addition to the second editions of this already classic series. The rocks in Montana have a fascinating story to tell about an ancient craton growing by collisions, laramides and volcanic eruptions, and these folks tease out a lot of that story. Well worth the money.
