Great product when it is all there.
It came with a sale ticket and a warranty sold by Best Buy dating from 2007 included; it is not new as represented.
This purchase was an addition to a matching product already possessed. The original antenna for this transmitter arrived missing - a (too short) twig of covered wire was inserted in its place. As a result, it is not creating an rf signal so the speakers get no signal. Hence no sound. Hence the first and third questions above are unanswered.
Using the previously owned transmitter, the speakers work fine.
I have searched tirelessly for an antenna for this model without success. In the process I have found that this is a very popular product with prices for speakers alone all over the map from $39.
The model is a great product when complete. Our original system has served well.
