Not real gold plating if you ask me!
The product at first presentation looks great, and you night initially be happy or even impressed you got this for 15 bucks.
But that feeling soon fades when you compare it to other gold jewelry and notice the color isn't quite accurate.
The color on this piece and chain is quite bright yellow. So bright in fact it almost screams "I came out of a 50¢ toy machine". When wearing this with other jewelry it doesn't match, and for that reason I've retired this piece to the status of "rear view mirror ornament".
Would I recommend this? Depends. Are you planing to rock this out and hope to be fashionable? Maybe. Are you a person who won't wear things if they appear cheap and cheesy? Then probably not....actually. I'm just gonna say shop around before buying.
Whatever "gold" these guys used to plate this matches none of the other gold in my possession. Not a single piece. It's just not good quality plating. Now the piece itself? Fine. Chain looks good. But whatever coating used to coat the pendant AND the chain was cheap and I'd steer clear if you're going to wear this with other gold jewelry. It'll give itself away and you'll look like a clown.
