Almost perfect
Generic paper rolls work fine, at least those that we bought do. We use Endicia and the 1050 works fine for printing 4x6 labels with a few minor limitations and it has to be set up using a print profile that is for the Dymo, as one doesn't exist for this printer. We say almost perfect because Brother is not the best for support...but their machines are good.
The printer itself was purchased used. Seems to be pretty well made, easy to load, prints quickly, print quality good. If it breaks down due to it being used, we'll buy another, new printer to get the warranty.
