Essential First Nations Drama Anthology

For anyone interested in Canadian Indigenous drama, this is the essential collection. It comes in 2 volumes but I prefer this one (volume 2) since it has some key works by dramatists like Clements, Moses, and Dandurand who are currently practising their craft. I use it for my class of First Peoples Literature but it is an interesting, even compelling collection for anyone interested in drama, indigenous or not.

Goodis’ Dark, Gripping Vision

The novel is reminiscent of Goodis’ Cassidy’s Girl, one of his best. In both works, the protagonist is involved with 2 women , one gentle and one violent. There is a circular quality to Goodis’ style and the structure where we end where we began. His vision is not comforting at all but is compelling!!Foodis
