Velvet-smooth grind, dark mahogany stain
(This is for the Summer 2017 crop.) This henna made an extremely smooth elastic paste that stained my skin (normally quite pale) a deep reddish brown. I don’t doubt at all that it will oxidize in a day or two to dark plum or near-black. Great product! Thank you!
Update a week later, with photos:
I am so happy with this henna! It started brick-red, then mahogany, and ultimately gave a very dark almost-black stain, like coffee or dark chocolate. Where I left the paste on for only a few hours, I still got a bright russet orange. I am most pleased with the color it gave to my nails. It is so vibrant that it almost glows!
I kept the leftover paste in the fridge for a week so I could do a henna gloss (paste mixed with conditioner) on my hair this weekend. I thought that the dye would have degraded over that time.... but it still stained my palms saffron-yellow with only a couple minutes of contact!
I plan to buy a bunch of this to pre-terp it and freeze up for later. :)

Absolutely beautiful!
I adore this roving. It is soft, silky, and the color is incredible. I use it as hair extensions, so I can’t speak to how it spins... but it is awesome on my head! ;)
(At the time of writing, they’re “almost gone,” and I really hope she gets in another batch! I’d keep buying it! *hint*)
