Another Solid Cisco

I've worked with several of these switches over the years and have never had any complaints... 10 GB uplinks, stable IOS, great for port aggregation, managing hundreds of VLANs, basic layer 3 routing. Perfect top-of-rack switch.

Great server. Loud and hot.

I've worked with 7 of these. They are good systems based on the HP SE1220 platform. They are loud and hot. You can max them out at 96gb RAM with two Xeon processors. Use your imagination for the disks. vSphere/VMware, Debian, and CentOS/RedHat all work well.
