Trying to stick with OEM parts, but this one was out of tolerance.
I always use motocraft fuel filters for my truck. in this particular case the underhood filter was slightly larger than it was supposed to be, and it ended up breaking the filter mount when I installed it. it still functions fine, but next filter change I will have to replace the mount as well.
