Results After 5 Months
After about 5 months of use, I can say this replacement battery is satisfactory on my Dell Latitude 7490 (14-inch model). I specifically received the F3YGT model. The previous battery had a little over 3 years of usage on it and was draining fully very fast (usually lasted anywhere from 1 to 3 hours on a full charge.
This is a noticeable improvement. With battery saver on, brightness at about 60%, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on, and about 8 tabs open with mostly continuous usage (writing, reading, and watching videos) as well as programs like Word, OneNote, messaging apps, and Spotify (occasionally, not nonstop), this battery was able to push about 6.75 hours of usage with 32% left. Tip to (maybe) save power: download Dell Power Manager and set the fan mode to quiet.
This will not always happen, and it will surely be less (maybe even 30 to 50% less) without battery saver on, but it's a major improvement and brought a lot of life back to the laptop. I recommend trying this battery.
