Rated for 500RMS and 2000watts is true
I tested myself and the coil will take 2000 watts of heat as that is what watts are
In a ported or vented cab i pumped 600 rms with no problem after braking in
In a sealed cab 400 rms got them hitting plenty hard
Note. The amps i use are far more then the subs need
Atm using a pioneer dm-9601D
Will definitly get more for other aplications like pro PA subs and home theater

grate quality
this is grate for music and movies but not good for PA
best with a sub and sealed enclosure
grate sound quality and nice volume
works very well for me
