Excellent Option for People with RSI or Hand and Finger Issues
The Roller Mouse Red is a newer offering from Contour. Compared with an early model I used years back, it has some upgraded engineering including a lighter touch, ability to control which fingers you use to operate it, and the addition of copy, paste and double-click buttons on its console area. In fact, it's the easiest left button click that I've ever found on any mouse or trackball.
I found the ability to set the cursor speed at five different levels extremely helpful as well. When pressed, the roller bar can also be used as a click operation, handy at times.
The unit is solid; it stays put on your desktop. Although the wrist rests can be detached, mine will definitely stay on.
With trigger thumbs and carpal tunnel, this wonderful device has begun to ease the significant hand and thumb pain I had.
