Check this out if you like Helmet!
A great mix of '90s grunge in the vein of Helmet and dreamy melody somewhat Slow Crush style, Soul Blind is a great up and coming throwback that I would absolutely recommend checking out. The only con to this album is that some of the tracks are a little to light for me but I'd say 3/4s of the songs are killer. The Japan version of the album has a 3 track Bandcamp digital EP (Third Chain EP) as bonus tracks and so if you want physical media that's the only way to get it making it a must have for me!

An Odd 80's Gem
1 of 1 found this helpful I have to confess that I bought this movie solely because of the goofy title but it turned out to be a very fun horror comedy. It starts off with a group of stereo types heading out to pull college prank that could be from any Revenge of the Nerds type movie, then about a half hour in they unknowingly release an imp, and the rest of the movie is awesome! Lots of good one liners and weird dialog mixed into some cool fight scenes and a couple over the top fatalities make this a winner in my book. Another fun fact that I caught while watching is that Static-X took the sample that closes their song "I'm With Stupid" from this film. I would say if you are looking for an odd but fun horror comedy in the vein of Chopping Mall or Night Of The Creeps, this movie is for you!

A real horror movie.
2 of 2 found this helpful I watch a lot of horror movies and lately I've had better luck watching older movies because the newer ones have been consistently letting me down. This movie changed that! The Void was everything a horror movie should be. It was intense and engaging almost from the very start and NEVER LET UP! The story is very much in the style of H.P. Lovecraft and the monsters would be right at home in a David Cronenburg movie. Another thing I have to throw out there is that after decades of watching horror I find myself (like most horror fans) able to pretty accurately predict who's next to die, who's the killer, ect., but this movie threw me off over and over. I'm purposely trying not to describe the plot because I think it's better to just watch with no idea of the plot. The characters are thrown into the situation with no warning, you should do the same! This was seriously the best horror movie I've seen in years and would strongly suggest it to all other fans of horror!!
