Works with PDP Concept Hardware
It's a quality rod. I bought it to use with PDP Concept hardware and it works fine for that. This doesn't matter to me but the size of the knurled sections is different than PDP if you're really cosmetics conscious.

Great price for a clicky metal sound
Main pedals are Pearl eliminator demon drive with the wood bearers. These don't quite have the same heft (pros and cons) but they sound great at a fraction of the price. Fwiw I use Evans EMAD heavyweight with the AF patches (which might not be necessary for tone but they add a lot of life to the head).

Perfect for a small kit
Works great with my Sonor Safari jungle kit. It's perfect for cramped spaces and would give even bigger kits a much cleaner look (less visual distraction - the hats on my bigger kits are up too high for this rod though). One of the best $10 investments I've ever made. (BTW it's just barely long enough for me, which is exactly what I wanted.)
