I've been fixing bicycles for over 50 years so full appreciate having durable and precise tools.
Recently I lost my Park derailleur adjustment gauge and, in searching online fo a replacement, saw this new brand that looked very similar to the Park tool, but at a significantly lower price so I gave it s shot.
The trick with this tool is to be able to easily adjust both the horizontal slide (moving in the plane of the hanger bracket) and the vertical slide (moving perpendicular to the rim surface) simultaneously.
The horizontal slide on the CycloSpirit Gauge works as well as the Park toolas both use friction slides. The vertical slide on the CycloSpirit Gauge is a bit more difficult to use as it uses a mechanical slide that needs to be locked after each adjustment whereas the Park tool again has a friction slide.
However, after adjusting a few frames you do develop some techniques that minimize this difference and the resulting frame adjustments with the CycloSpirit Gauge are as accurate as with the Park tool.Read full review

A must have!!
Guess what? Most bikes including brand new and out of the box bike do not have properly aligned derailleur hangers. Sometimes just enough pressure, pushing and pulling is enough to get them out of alignment. What will happen next is that your indexing will not be working as smooth as it could be.
This tool will show you that your rear derailleur hanger is out of alignment and it’s easy to fix.

Awesome tool to have on hand.
This is a very easy to use tool. Simple to see if the derrailer hanger is bent or out of alignment. You can use the tool to carefully striaghten it or choose to replace the hanger. I was able to strighten mine out and shifting is spot on again. The tool that i received seems very well made and should last a long time. It comes with a storage pouch. Love it. Required equipment if you ride a lot
Super easy to use and definitely needed if you ride a lot. My hangers routinely get bent and in the past I typically attempted to bend them back by hand. It took three times as long and I broke several hangers in the process. Do yourself a favor and just get the right tool to start, it will pay off every time you use it for years to come.Read full review

Solid, accurate, well priced tool
Similar design to my Park Dag 2.2 but better! There is very little lateral play at the important
screw head bolt and the welds are much cleaner than the Park. I recommend to remove the
bolt and set screw tensioner and grease it up liberally. This allows you to really tighten the tensioner and still be able to rotate the bolt with almost no play at the junction.

Good basic tool.
Good for the price. I removed the black end plug from the square bar to allow removing and installing the slider. This allows positioning on more of the wheel's area.
I tossed some of the rubber and plastic bits that are supposed to protect threads and hold things together. So I keep it it it's original sturdy box that is holding up quite well to frequent use!
I did have the threaded snout loosen when I used it to forcefully chase bad threads from the back side of a damaged hanger, but I was able to simply re-tighten it with a 4mm Hex key at the threaded stud's tip.
