Selecting buyer requirements
What are buyer requirements?
You can block buyers from bidding on or purchasing your items by specifying buyer requirements. You can block buyers who:
You can also block buyers based on their username by creating a blocked list.
Think carefully before blocking buyers. While selecting buyer requirements may reduce your exposure to buyers who could make transactions difficult, it will also reduce the number of potential buyers you'll have for your items.
Specifying buyer requirements for all listings
To select buyer requirements for all your listings:
Note: You can choose not to allow blocked buyers to contact you. Blocked buyers will still be able to contact you about existing transactons, unless you add them to your blocked list.
To block buyers whose primary shipping address is in a country you don't ship to:

To specify buyer requirements for a specific listing, follow these steps:

To see buyers who have been blocked from bidding on or buying your items as a result of your requirements:
A table is displayed showing users who have been blocked over the past 60 days as a result of the buyer requirements you've selected. Also displayed are the date the member was blocked and the buyer requirement that caused the block.
This information helps you understand how your selected buyer requirements are impacting your business. For example, you might choose to block buyers in countries to which you don't ship, but find that a significant number of users from a particular country are interested in your items. You can decide to begin shipping to that country and lift that buyer requirement to capitalize on their interest in your items.
Creating an exemption list
If you've already set up buyer blocks, you can allow specific eBay members to bid on or purchase your items regardless of any requirements by adding them to your buyer requirements exemption list. Use one of the following methods to exempt buyers:
