Just get it
The frosted screen makes reading blurred as the 3rd gen but to me they work the same and is much cheaper. Both display the temp as you walk buy and have the same eco, smart sense, scheduling capability. The white bevel blends well with my ginger walls. Glad I made the purchase. The google and nest are awesome features and the reason for purchase.

No more toilet paper
Auto button is great. Nice warm water and seat. Blower could be better and warmer heater but I have 2 of these out of the 4 I own. The night light and lighted switch make it nice to not have to turn the lights on in the middle of night
