Why drop off directly?

Fast

Use the same eBay International Shipping process you’re already familiar with.

Flexible

No need to commit - choose drop off when it's convenient or ship on an order-by-order basis. Just make sure your item is delivered to the hub within your handling time.

How it works

1

Print an address label. When your item sells with eBay International Shipping, go to the Orders page on Seller Hub, click the three-dot icon, and select “Print packing slip and more”. Check “Address label” and print.

2

Pack it like you’re shipping it. Your package should be fully sealed and ready to go, exactly as if you were handing it to a carrier.

3

Drive to 2520 Royal Windsor Dr., Mississauga, Loading Door R-2. The marked drop-off area will be available between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).

4

Hand it to the clerk and mark it as shipped. Once your package is scanned in, your tracking will update and your package will be on its way to your buyer.

FAQ

  • Does this change my payout?

No, you're still paid based on your domestic shipping cost, same as always. If you end up dropping off the shipment at the hub instead of shipping with a domestic carrier, you can keep the proceeds of your shipping cost.

  • Can I drop off on statutory holidays?

No, the hub is closed on statutory holidays. Please plan your drop-offs during our standard weekday hours.

  • Do I have to use this every time?

No, you can choose to drop off for some orders, and use your regular domestic carrier when it’s more convenient.

  • Does my handling time still apply?

Yes. Your package still needs to arrive within your stated handling time.

  • Can I bring multiple orders?

Yes, there is no limit to the number of orders you can bring to the hub.

  • Do I have to set anything up before an item sells?

No, drop-off is a choice you make when buying your label, after the sale. Nothing changes on your listings and you do not need to update your shipping policies. If you’d like, you can adjust your pricing to reflect the lower average cost, helping drive conversion - but this is not mandatory.

  • Does my package need to be ready to ship?

Yes, package and seal your shipment exactly as if you were handing it to a carrier, with the drop-off label printed and attached. Unboxed items will not be accepted.

  • Can I just leave my packages at the hub?

No, every package must be received by a hub clerk. Packages left unattended will not be picked up, scanned, or accepted, and may result in an "Item not received” claim.

  • When can I drop off packages?

The facility can accept drop-offs any weekday, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., excluding holidays. We are not able to accept packages dropped off after these hours. To provide the fastest shipping experience to your buyer, we suggest dropping off before 1 p.m..

  • Is this only available in the Greater Toronto Area?

There are no geographic restrictions. If you think drop-off works for you, you are free to use it no matter where you are. We are exploring solutions that will enable us to expand this option to more buyers across Canada in the future.
