Setting up multiple users on one account

Many sellers use the summer to hire staff, or even work with friends or family, to assist in adding or optimizing their eBay listings. However, giving all of your account information to another person usually isn’t advisable.

eBay’s Multi-User Account Access tool allows you to grant limited permissions to different users. For example, allowing them only to add/edit listings, without having the ability to review sales or communicate with customers.

This tool allows you to manage your online business efficiently among multiple team members, without compromising your account security.

Designing a branded, browsable eBay store

With an eBay store subscription, you can create a personalized, branded destination for your buyers to browse products and learn more about your business.

Add custom logos and banners, share your business’ story and policies, or use a marketing banner to draw attention to particular items or categories. Crucially, you can also manage custom categories to offer potential customers the easiest browsing experience.

The Store tab in Seller Hub will even guide you through the various steps involved in designing a branded store. If you’re growing a following on eBay, consider creating a branded store this summer.

Optimize listings with data-driven insights from eBay

There’s never a bad time to review your active listings and find ways to increase traffic or improve the likelihood of making sales.

Wondering how other sellers are listing items like your, and at what price? eBay’s Product Research tool - available through the Seller Centre Research tab - offers detailed, actionable insights into the listing details and sales prices of millions of items sold on eBay.

Meanwhile, sellers with a certain number of listings can also access our Listing Quality Report through the Performance tab in Seller Hub. This detailed report will provide clear actions to help you drive more traffic and improve conversions, and identify which of your listings (if any) aren’t showing up on Google Shopping, and why.

Seller Spotlight: Slab Sharks

Slab Sharks is the product of a group of friends with a shared passion for sports cards and collectibles. A lawyer by training, co-founder Karn Rai had spent years convincing his friends to come with him to trading card shows and expos across Canada and the US.

In 2022, after growing a presence on eBay, the group of five: Harman Gill, Raja Dhillon, Gagan Rana, Nav Chahal and Karn decided to jump headlong into the business, pooling together $3000 to start sports and trading card consigner Slab Sharks.

Laser-focused on customer service and trust, Slab Sharks grew to support over 500 unique consignors across North America. In their first year, they quickly broke seven figures in eBay sales, and have already more than doubled their gross sales in 2023. A staple at tradeshows and expos across Canada and the US, earlier this year they also opened their first office location in Mississauga, ON.
